    Hiking in Sun Valley

Growing up, my family would go hiking a lot during the summer months. Some of the best childhood memories came from hiking as a family! As I’ve gotten older, I have brought that love of hiking with me. I haven’t done it enough this summer but I plan to go hiking at least 2-3 more times before the summer is over. Kendall and I decided to take off on Saturday and drive to one of our favorite hiking locations, Sun Valley! The hikes around Sun Valley never disappoint. It was nice getting out and breathing some fresh mountain air, taking pictures just for fun, and spending some quality time together.…

    Family Trip To Ashton

We spent the weekend with family in Ashton, Idaho. It was such a great little getaway. Fall is my favorite season to hike because of all of the colors on the trees. Although there wasn’t as much color as we were expecting, we still had a great time getting outside in the fresh air! Warning: This post may contain a lot of cute pictures of Mason! In fact, I primarily only took pictures of Mason! haha. Enjoy! We got everyone except my dad and Kendall in this picture. Mason with his beloved leaf. He carried this around pretty much the whole time. I think Mason may have been bundled up…

    Trip to the Redwoods

We just got back a few days ago from our Redwoods trip and it was so much fun! If you’ve never been to the Redwoods you’ll definitely have to go sometime. They are beautiful! We spent a lot of time hiking and exploring (my favorite) so it was definitely a trip worth remembering. Below are some pictures from our trip. We went to the Prairie Creek Redwoods for a majority of our hikes. There are a ton of different trails so you definitely won’t get bored! We ended up seeing a ton of elk before we started hiking. There were about 10-15 elk just a few feet away from us.…

    Roller Coasters, Canyons & Caves

Every year when fall comes around I get excited for the leaves to change colors. I have always loved fall for the beauty it has to offer and every year I enjoy it for the short time that it lasts.  This year when September hit, I really wanted to go to Logan Canyon to see the fall leaves.  For those of you who have never been to Logan Canyon, it is in Utah and during the fall, the colors on the trees are unreal! I am constantly looking at pictures that other photographers have taken and I love how colorful the trees get. After talking Kendall into a short weekend…

    Camping, Hot Dogs & Hikes

Kendall and I enjoyed our first camping trip together over the weekend! Not our first camping trip ever, just since we have been married. We both grew up camping and we both enjoy getting away for a few days to enjoy the great outdoors. Below are some pictures from our short time away! I love having this view each morning when I wake up. It’s so beautiful. Kendall Cooking up some elk steak and zucchini.  Not our typical camping food but it was delicious! Usually, I see deer and maybe a moose while camping, but this time I saw cows. haha I think Channa enjoyed camping! She saw so many…

    Kendall’s Graduation+Oregon Coast Trip!

Kendall graduated over the weekend! First off, I just want to say how proud of him I am! He worked so hard.  He was going to school full-time (all online), working full-time, helping out at our church and working on a school internship all at the same time. It got a little crazy there for awhile! But he did it! He graduated! We made a trip out of his graduation because it was close to the Oregon coast and of course, we had to do some celebrating! Now for the picture overload!  The first few days of our trip we were in Portland visiting Kendall’s dad in the hospital. One…
