Hiking in Sun Valley

Growing up, my family would go hiking a lot during the summer months. Some of the best childhood memories came from hiking as a family! As I’ve gotten older, I have brought that love of hiking with me. I haven’t done it enough this summer but I plan to go hiking at least 2-3 more times before the summer is over. Kendall and I decided to take off on Saturday and drive to one of our favorite hiking locations, Sun Valley! The hikes around Sun Valley never disappoint. It was nice getting out and breathing some fresh mountain air, taking pictures just for fun, and spending some quality time together. Below are some pictures from our hike!

The picture above was actually taken at the end of our hike, if we both look tired, it’s because we were! haha. Hiking in the heat takes a lot out of a person but it was SO worth it!!

No matter where we hike, I’m always on the lookout for two things, wildflowers, and creeks! I found plenty of both on this hike.

I bought Kendall a pair of Chacos for his birthday so we had to break them in! It looks like many more hikes will be happening in our near future.

The view from the top. I could have stayed there for a few days! Too bad we didn’t pack a tent.

My two favorite snacks to bring hiking are walnuts and apples!

This was Kendall’s, “I made it to the top pose.”

Just another flower picture.

These cherries tasted so yummy after our hike! I got them from our local Farmer’s Market!

We let Channa try a boiled egg for the first time and she loved it! I will definitely have to give her another one in in the future as a special treat.

Alright, that’s it! Thanks for looking through the photos from our hiking trip. 🙂
